My Dream Job

Are you working your dream job? Or is it still a dream?

After deciding to build our dream home on Lake Murray in Prosperity, SC, I knew I didn't want to spend hours commuting and working for someone else. Where would I find my dream job, I wondered? I shared my dream of working on my deck or porch with a laptop computer with my friends and their response was, "Yeah, wouldn't we all like a job like that?"

It's true that I did work for someone else for five years but I still had a vision of this dream in my head. When I found my current business, I knew right away the dream was finally real. I work my simple business according to a simple business plan while sitting on my porch or in my recliner. Right now I'm sitting at the table in my dream kitchen. How cool is that?

The best part is that I am a proven leader in my field and spend my working hours showing other motivated dreamers how to succeed at their dream job, too. When people say this sounds too good to be true, I respond with it is too good not to be true. I still spend time (20-25 hours per week - no commute) attracting people with the same desire I had and mentoring them to the same success and leadership position I have. And when I travel, as I recently did to a conference in Australia, I can continue the business or take a break from it. It's my dream so I choreograph the moves.

Think about your dream job. If mine sounds like one you'd like, contact me. If I can successfully live my dream, so can you.

To Your Success,
