Your Dream Lifestyle

Right now, this very minute, are you living your dream lifestyle? Do you live in your dream home, drive your dream car, take your dream vacations, have your dream income, and donate to your dream causes? If not, why not? Remember, anything is possible as long as you give it your attention, focus and energy.

So which of these areas has not measured up? Do you think about your dreams, visualize them, and experience the emotions of having them come true? Do you look for opportunities to cause them to materialize? Do you take action when opportunities arise that can make your dreams a reality?

You may be sitting there now going, "whatever, it's just a dream." My job is to open to your awareness the possibility that anything you dream is possible. If it were not possible, your subconscious mind wouldn't have brought it to the attention of your conscious mind. Now comes the tricky part, the conscious mind has to believe it to be possible for the subconscious mind to go to work to make it happen.

This is the essence of the Law of Attraction. Whatever your conscious mind tells your subconscious mind, it believes. And the subconscious mind is dedicated to bring into your life the things you give your attention, focus and energy to. So if you say that something can't happen, then your subconscious mind believes it and goes to work to make sure whatever you said won't happen.

I challenge you to state what you do want and only give that your attention, focus and energy. If you catch yourself saying something you don't want, stop, and refocus on what you DO want. You don't have to start with the dream house, job, car, income, etc. Start with a parking place or attracting some money into your life. In no time you'll be a believer, and then we can focus on your real dream lifestyle. If you want to learn more about how this works, contact me. We'll explore where you are now and how to get you on your way to your dream lifestyle. You already believe it's possible so let's take action to make it happen.

The Spiritual Connection to Living Your Dream

Ed and I were watching Depak Chopra's DVD on The Seven Laws of Spiritual Success tonight. This was definitely an hour well-spent. We both received new insights from this production. I first read Depak about 10 years ago and considered him a little bit "out there" for my tastes. Of course, that was then and now I'm a very different person. For one thing, I'm more spiritual as well as more open to the flow of new ideas into my consciousness. Because of various books I've read and decisions I've made, I think I'm more in harmony with God than I was before. This assists me by creating a bond between my dream and the power to live that dream.

It seems that the more modern our society has become, the less time we have for quiet time to get in touch with who we really are. As long as we spend every waking moment "doing", there is no time for "being." I used to pride myself on being very time efficient. I could get more done in a day than most people I know. I would plan and orchestrate each activity to flow into the next. I felt like a time and motion study expert from a century ago. Now we call this multi-tasking. What is the end result? Is the world a better place because I polished my nails while watching a movie and talking on the phone with a good friend. The chances are good that none of the three activities had my full attention. My nails probably look like I polished them while blindfolded.

As we all know, personal development is a buzz word these days. Everyone is attempting to attract more of what they do want and less of what they don't want. The accomplishment of this requires us to sit back, relax, and focus on who we are and visualize achieving our dreams. As we experience the emotion of this achievement, we raise our level of awareness to new heights. As we do these exercises, we also become aware of our true purpose in life. Our highest goal then is to fulfill the purpose we were created for. Depak ends his DVD by saying something like, "When I'm gone, I'll have done what I came to do. And that's enough."

Is this the path you are on today? Do you know your true purpose? Are you at peace with yourself and in harmony with God, your creator? I believe that simple is definitely better. Today I am so grateful to have the time and financial freedom to explore myself, identify my gifts, and use them to fulfill my purpose. I am eternally grateful that we all have the opportunity to live our dream. Contact me for more information about how you can live yours.

You Know the Answer

You may not be aware that you already have the answer to your question but trust me when I tell you, "You know the answer." "Okay," you respond, "so what exactly is the question?" Am I right? The question is, "What is my purpose in being here?" Knowing this answer is critical for you to live your dream.

If I told you that you have all the biochemical knowledge you need to make your body maintain 98.6 degrees, for the movement of potassiun and sodium into and out of your cells to make your heart beat 64 times a minute, and the triggering of electical impulses to fire nerve endings to cause you to see and hear, would you believe me? You'd say something like, "I haven't been to medical school." And you would be correct. However, no doctor has caused you to breathe and transfer oxygen to your brain and heart muscle have they? Your own subconscious mind has accomplished this since before you were born!

Your subconscious is very smart and able to multitask beyond anyone's wildest expectations. So it stands to reason that your subconscious has a purpose in causing you to live, see, hear, speak, and think, right? Just ask it what that reason is and you will hear the answer. I asked my subconscious that question and I heard that I am a fearfully and wonderfully made creation put here to give people inspiration to achieve more than they ever thought they could. My job is is to show up everyday and listen for instructions.

Each time I receive instructions, I write them in the form of a goal. Sometimes it's a goal for that day, and sometimes it's a goal for 5 years from now. The important thing for me to do is to be aware of the goal, get excited about it because it's designed for me to achieve my purpose, and to show me the steps necessary to make it happen. I have little work to do in this process other than show up and do what I'm told. This sounds like working for a boss, doesn't it? The difference is that the boss is now my subconscious mind who knows me, loves me, and will direct me along the right path for me to achieve my purpose.

I am so grateful for my subconscious mind for a lot of reasons. As I already mentioned, it keeps my body alive and healthy. It prompts me in the direction I need to take. It also gives me the solutions to any challenges that may occur. So today when you ask yourself the question, "What is my purpose?", remember that you know the answer. My guess is that answer will require you to step out on faith and reevaluate your life. That's what I did. And the result has been so liberating and exciting. I encourage you to do the same. Trust your subconscious. It is your closest ally, literally. In so doing, you will succeed in the quest to live your dream.

Chase Your Own Dream

I'm sure you've heard the expression that employees chase their boss' dream, right? When you think about it, that is so true. Employees have limited opportunities to achieve any significant financial goals. Sure, there's the annual 3% raise, the turkey at Thanksgiving, and if you're really lucky and the boss is in a good mood, there may be a Christmas bonus. Think Chevy Chase in Christmas Vacation. I'm here to say that it's time to Chase Your Own Dream!

You've probably often heard that millionaires all work for themselves, not someone else. There's a reason for this. They chase their own dreams with others helping them. I challenge you to listen to your heart and imagine what it will be like when you achieve your dream of financial freedom or whatever it is you really want to happen. When you think about it, what exactly is a goal other than a clearly focused dream? It's something we visualize and take steps to achieve before it actually becomes a reality. To increase the likelihood of achieving your dream or goal, it helps to use a S.M.A.R.T. approach. Goals must be specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and timetable-able.

As you set your goals according to these principles, you will learn to focus on exactly what you are passionate about achieving and why. Visualize your life with that achievement and you will actually feel as though it has occurred. This is very powerful. It is the difference between dreaming and creating reality. Start with the dream and then make it a goal upon which you focus with laser-like intensity. Watch what happens in your life.

Many people just daydream without really believing they can achieve their goals. If you take the time to really identify what you want, why you want it, how it will improve yours and your family's life, and set a time for its completion, you can achieve any goal your mind produces. I am living proof of that and it feels very powerful. Remember, if your mind can conceive it (dream it), you can achieve it. So get started right now on chasing your own dream. All it takes is a decision.
